IMAGE INTENSIFIER TEST EQUIPMENT

The image intensifier test station system is designed to perform automated measurements of all essential parameters of image intensifiers and their power supplies. It supports testing of both potted tubes (encapsulated units powered by low-voltage supplies) and vacuum blocks (bare tubes powered by high-voltage power supplies). This test station system is suitable for use by manufacturers, testing laboratories, and repair workshops throughout the different stages of the image intensifier lifecycle.

Description

The set of image intensifier test stations is designed for automated measurements of all the basic parameters of image intensifier and it’s power supply. The set performs the tests of potted tubes [encapsulated tubes powered from low voltage supply]and vacuum blocks [bare tubes powered from high voltage power supplies]. The set of test stations can be used by manufacturers,test laboratories,repairing workshops at different stages of life of Image Intensifiers.

IIT stand
The IIT test stands are placed on optical breadboard and contain:
  • Light source
  • Optical system [projection optics camera]
  • Control block contains measuring module power module and optics control module

System requirements:
  • Windows 10 or later [54-Bit]
  • USB 3.0

Power supply stand
The power supply test station consists of:
  • Main unit for control of power supply under test and external equipment.
  • Autogate test unit
To perform all the tests external equipment is needed:
  • Kl voltmeter-2 pcs
  • Portable oscilloscope
The external equipment is specified upon order.

The set consists of 4 stands

  • Image intensifier tube inspection stand [IITIS]
    performs measurements of signal-to-noise ratio (S/N), gain, luminous photocathode sensitivity, maximum output brightness, and EBI.
  • Image intensifier tube resolution inspection stand [IIRIS].
  • Image intensifier tube field of view purity inspection stand [FVPS].
  • High-voltage power supply control stand [HVPS]
    performs tests for both standard and programmable power supplies.

Each stand can be purchased separately. The view of the stands may differ from the image provided.
